of religion, class and race.
O friend,
remove all your dearest possessions;
your wealth, status and title.
Remove your family, friends and loved ones;
your anxieties, sadness and fear.
Remove it all until there is only you.
The Earth beneath your feet, and the stars in the sky above.
Only thought remains.
Increase the space between these thoughts;
they stretch and dissolve.
Remove the boundaries of space and time,
colour and shape.
O precious soul,
only Identity remains.
